Croque, Cafe + Bakery

" Today is a good day to have a good day "

EUROPEAN-FILIPINO INSPIRED DISHES

Croque is pronounced as "Krohk" from the word "croquer" which means CRUNCH in French as it was mentioned in their website.

Location :  833, Dominion Building, Arnaiz Ave, Makati, 1223 Metro Manila

One of the best European fushion restaurant I have tasted. It's more of a fine dining restaurant cause it takes 15 minutes for each food to be served. Since I have Saturday classes, my mom and I tried this restaurant one Saturday.

As this is our first time to be there, we ordered Fillet Mignon, Pasta Al Funghi, 4 kinds of Mushroom. The first thing that was served is bread and butter. They made the bread itself. It's soft and flavorful. Next on our plate is the 4 kinds of mushroom soup. It is my first time to have seen a restaurant pouring the soup in a bowl in front of me. It's so amazing. An A+ for that kind of presentation! The soup is creamy and salty, and rich. For our main dish, we ordered Pasta Al Funghi and Fillet Minion. If you are a mushroom lover you would definitely order Pasta Al Funghi. It has a soft boiled egg on top, its oil based too. Did you know that they make their own pasta? Gosh its Al Dente! It is the best way to cook pasta! Lastly, Fillet Mignon, steak is tender. Medium well is perfect for the steak. Side dishes are added, mashed potato and buttered steamed veggies. Sumptuous meal! We will definitely go back.

I hope they branch out soon. It's expensive but not too expensive :)
